Ft Lauderdale, Florida photographer Ian Barr was born in Liverpool, England. Ian traveled to London in 1968 and was employed as a Colour Technician at various Pro Labs in London later becoming an Assistant Photographer.

Ian travelled extensively around the world in the 70's eventually settling in the United States. In 1978, he established IAN BARR Photography, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a Corporate Advertising Studio.

Today, Ian Barr is a successful corporate advertising photographer specializing in annual reports, corporate brochures and advertising, along with packaging for small appliances and food.
